Serien Lighting

Founded in Germany by Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf in 1983, Serien thrives on innovation. A recent exemplar of company standards, their Zoom light transforms from lantern to chandelier in a single expandable moment (an XL version has inner and outer rings that widen to ballroom specs). Other abracadabra pieces include ceramic, foam shades, a lighted ceiling fan with wings of transparent foil, and floor lamps whose light may be variously directed at the touch of a button.

By serien lighting: This highly decorative and graceful chandelier boasts the same amazing features as the small table luminaire – when it is switched on the lampshades open up like a flower. Poppy Chandelier consists of 30 swivel arms. As these can be moved, both the appearance of the entire chandelier as well as the direction of the light can be changed. Poppy Chandelier is particularly effective in large rooms in which there is a call for a touch of extravagance.
