You can never go wrong with American Apparel leggings. I've got a pair of these shiny nylon tricots in gunmetal and I absolutely love them..now I'm seriously thinking about adding a fluorescent pair to my collection!

However, when it comes to clothing, shiny can often make a perfectly normal person look like the victim of an 80s horror movie. This is why I'm recommending these leggings. They have a shiny, leather look that is sure to be noticed, ut, when paired with a matte skirt or dress the whole effect is played down (but still desirable). This way the shiny trend-du-jour does not also contribute to the making of a hundreds of fashion victims.
