Deadwood: The Complete Seasons 1-3
This is one of my favorite TV shows. Its portrayal of the West isn't glamorized and is filled with grit, grim and vulgarity. Unfortunately, it ended way too soon. The third season's dialogue gets pretty complex at times seeming Shakesperean. So pay close attention. I'm sure you'll fall in love with the shows villain Swerringer.

And who could forget Pete and Pete, the red-haired brothers? I remember this show being very quirky...the mom had metal plates in her head that were pesky around magnetic objects.

You know, $200 is not a bad price for a box set of the entire series. Especially since it was on for a million years. However, in this recession, I'll have to hold off for now. This short lived prime time series was actually a good show. It was about two brothers who move to a town where really weird stuff happens. It was part thriller, part horror, part sci fi. In my house, The Electric Company was as much of a childrens' programming staple as Sesame Street. Here's a kids show that didn't talk down to kids and was full of character and substance.

In my opinion Jeremy Brett IS Sherlock Holmes. I just revisited this series which I haven't seen in over 20 years. Its soooooo good! I'm addicted and planning to buy this boxed set as a Christmas gift to myself.

Punky Brewster! I used to think you were so cool! With her funky colors and cool high tops. I think the second season is always the best out of the group , so I chose this one. A three hour tour. A three season show. Gilligan's Island is an all-time classic that I HAVE to own on DVD. I just can't get enough of Ginger being in charge of seducing all of the bad guys and Gilligan always getting in the way.

Thats what happened with Carnivale. A classic story, literally, between good and evii set against the backdrop of the Depression and a travelling circus troupe. Just when our hero and antihero (the Antichrist) are about to meet finally in the same town, the show gets cancelled. BAH!!!!! Anyway, the 2 seasons are REALLY worth watching. Check it out.
