The subject is a bird soaring through a puffy blue and white sky. The black and white bird is framed below and the blue sky is framed above, making this truly a one of a kind piece. Both paintings were created on gessoed archival Bristol paper with many layers of oil paint applied with sable brushes. There is a top coat of varnish to further protect the painting from the elements.
