Osem Soup Almonds
My friend Vicky turned me on to this Israeli favorite and now I'm totally hooked. (Like I need another food addiction.) Osem Soup Almonds are little tiny croutons about the size of Chicklets. They're awesome both in soup and just for snacking. One of the best things about them is they stay crunchy in soup. No really I swear!

I really have only one food group in my (so called) diet and it's Pepperidge Farm Goldfish. Sure, I eat other things, but these are what I've eaten everyday, consistently for years. They're delicious and crunchy and the main part of my diet.

Such a classic snack! I was amazed to find that these were even available anymore. I used to enjoy eating them so much, as well as carrying around the box with the little string that is attached to the top like a purse strap.

Ritz crackers are so savory and so buttery it's hard not to eat an entire roll of them. When I'm not eating them plain, my favorite toppings are peanut butter or dill havarti cheese and dried apricots.

When I was younger, there was only one flavor of Goldfish crackers. Now there are 20 of them . Goldfish crackers are an easy to eat snack , great for driving or at work.

I eat a lot of these, and I can't tell the difference between regular and reduced fat. So I go with reduced fat. My family loves cheese. "It's just a little cheese."

Gosomi are fantastic little biscuits with hints of coconut and sesame. They are super thin, very crispy and melt away on your tongue is seconds. The texture is a sensory wonder. The flavor is complex... its light, sweet, a little toasty and distinctly nutty with a taste of coconut. The packaging is very cute though a little odd. A golden yellow wrapper is decorated with fairytale-like illustrations of a little girl and a scooter and a baby rocker. If nothing else, the wrapper accurately (and strangely) conveys the idea of delicacy. I have been enjoying these treats for a while, knowing relatively nothing about them. Trying to add them to ThisNext forced me to do some serious research. Turns out, Gosomi is one of many snacks made by a large company called Orion Corp out of Seoul, Korea. This biscuit was reintroduced back in 2002, though there is nothing else said about its heritage. I did find out that "the sophisticated and modern packaging was designed by Komine Yuri, a Japanese illustrator for creative and mysterious-looking illustrations" Now that I've lectured you, treat yourself to a reward. Get some Gosomi!

Finn Crisp Originals are hands-down my favorite crackers. Excellent for dipping into CIBO pesto sauces and really good w/cheese too. Also good w/sardines if you like that sort of thing.
