Bassetti Sheet and Bed Sets

Bassetti Sheet and Bed Sets

I'm not really sure how these sheets work, but they pipe in actual sounds of nature to your bed while you sleep. Ever wanted to snooze near the crashing surf in the ocean? Now you can do it all without having to move and buy pricy real estate. Plus, they also promise the "perfume" and smells of nature, again making me wonder how this high-tech sleepy goodness is achieved. But, if it can drown out my noisy neighbors and send me to lullaby land, I'm all for it.

  • Pop in a cd like this one and you're that much closer to creating your own beach oasis. Close your eyes, lean back, and relax! You can almost smell the ocean water in the breeze now!

  • I love rain sounds and I love sleeping. This is a great idea for taking naps or even just falling asleep at night. Sometimes when it's too quiet my mind wanders more than if there's a subtle noise to relax too, such as a fan. but ... I love rain sounds and I love sleeping. • This is very handy for not having to sit up in the middle of the night to see the time (since you won't wake yourself up by moving around).

It's the grown-up version of the talking kids' books!!!! Flip through the beautiful illustrations to find the bird you are interested in, then dial in the corresponding number to instantly hear the bird call. It's easy and fascinating. I like being able to see the bird and hear it at the same time. Very convenient for back-yard birders and enthusiasts alike. From the website: Editorial Reviews From Booklist Here are splendid color illustrations of 250 species of birds, some showing only the male and others showing both the male and female. Drawing from the Macaulay Library at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the book is divided into four parts: seabirds, shorebirds, and water birds; forest birds; woodland birds; and open-country birds. With each illustration is a description of the bird's range in the U.S and Canada and its ecology and behavior. The profiles emphasize the birds' vocalizations--both songs and calls--which can be heard on an audio component that comes with the book. By using this digital audio technology, readers will be able to relate the songs and calls to the birds' appearances. Beletsky, a notable bird biologist, has written a fascinating book that will aid bird-watchers. George Cohen Review Bird Songs is a significant new learning device for birdwatchers. By bringing digital audio technology to the printed book, you can relate the songs and calls of those birds you see from the comfort of your armchair. This unique and informative tool, combining text, illustrations, and sounds, should be on every coffee table. - Dr Paul Green, Director of Citizen Science, National Audubon Society
