Bugatti Veyron is the fastest production car ever made. Its official top speed is 253 mph (you have to press the special 'top speed' key before starting the engine if you're going to go beyond 233 mph). 16-cylinder 1001 hp mid-engine allows it to go 0-60 in 2.4 seconds, and 0-150 in under 10 seconds. What's even more impressive is that the car goes 60-0 in 2.3 seconds and 250-0 in less than 10 seconds. I'd say this kind of deceleration is even more exciting than acceleration. Anyway, the base price for this baby in the US is around $1.3 million. Of course, there's always additional options. The deposit you have to pay to order the car is about $150,000, and it takes about 1 year before you actually get the car after paying the deposit. Worth the wait though.

  • This car actually makes me drool further aggravated by the fact that you can see the engine in the rear. You've seen it on Iron Man and in futuristic concept form on I, Robot. It is the sports car of heroes.
