adidas by Stella McCartney: Run Cover-Up Jacket
Today (April 30, 2008) we are exactly 100 days away from the opening of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Since adidas is an official sponsor of these Games, I thought it would be appropriate to acknowledge their contribution by recommending a favorite product from their site. Not much is yet available in the way of Olympic-specific gear. But I did happen upon this clever cover-up for runners designed by Stella McCartney. Having enduring several soggy runs this week, I would love to have one of these on hand the next time I venture out in the pouring rain. Plus, it is pretty darn sexy too.

I love how military buttoning and a double breasted cut go hand in hand. The front flap is removable, but I quite like it, but it could give you two totally different looks!

I wish I had this jacket a long time ago. It looks so warm and comfortable and it has a color scheme that isn't over the top.
