I don't know what it is but this book just struck a chord with me. I adore Douglas Coupland's writing style and tone. I am re-reading on my summer vacation.

The large fold-over flap is actually a zippered pocket so it opens into a deep hidden pocket that I find especially useful when I travel for itineraries and passports. Two easily accesible magnetic-close front pockets, and one perfect length strap. Easy to get into and out of the purse. Fits my planner, phone, clutch wallet and cell with plenty of room for a scarf on chilly days. The inside lining has a colorful injection of playful hand illustrations by Gilles Jourdan, who I had not heard about before, but I love her now! It gives the bag an extra oomph and shows that attention to detail. It's unique, it's beautiful, and easily has become an staple to my wardrobe.
