Chloé Silk chiffon blouse
When I was in college, my favorite movie was Secretary with Maggie Gyllenhaal. I, at the time, thought it was a sweet love story and, more importantly, loved the clothes in it. Gyllenhaal was rocking the retro 40s chic and I absolutely adored it. This silk chiffon blouse would have fit in perfectly in the movie and that means, I would wear it be perfect for a business suit. The slightly sheer nature of it suggests that it would be perfect under a nice skirt suit. The delicate bow allowing me to be both glamorous and professional.

If you can get away with wearing this kind of suit to work, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO!! I know I'll definitely attempt to pull it off with dark cranberry lipstick and brown pumps. (I'll probably hem these pants...)

This Rachel Zoe suit is super cute (definitely NOT interview appropriate so don't even think about it). It'll be a good Fall basic~ easy to throw on in the morning and it goes with tons of colors!

I'm having a mini love affair with this dress. With a blazer, it can be similar to a three piece suit, but by itself it's great for business casual workplaces as well.

This is a nice sleek jacket, perfect interview attire. Gray is a great color to add to your wardrobe. If everything you own is "black", I would suggest trying gray. Its a wonderful neutral color and looks classy.

The lighter fabric is perfect for late summer, or if you live somewhere like i do where there is no fall, just hot hot heat until November, this is the perfect jacket to look professional and not sweat to death. It's by Mossimo, so it's a great fit, and it's actually much less boxy in person. Matching pantses are available too, and one of the best things about this brand is that there's virtually no vanity sizing, so there's no questioning about what size to order.

I love the tiny little gold ring at the toe and the slightly high heel. Perhaps 100mm isn't comfortable walking heel height, but they are perfect for slight jaunts around the office.
