i love all the tan buckles, such an unusual twist. i also like that it has a heel, but it's not too high and it's thick, but not too thick.

i can't remember which designer sent tassel boots like these down their fall runway (gucci maybe?), but these are very similar.

I try to buy boots during the summer when they're on sale because it's hard to find good ones that are affordable once winter hits. These Dolce Vita ones look a lot like a pair I wore out this winter.
