The Nintendo DS is the newest handheld system by Nintendo. It features a system which is built around the use of a stylus, dual screens, and a mic for gameplay. The usual gamepad and game buttons are also present for regular game playing. The battery life is pretty good with about 10 hours of gameplay possible. Loading times are non - existent because the games are on solid state rom cartridges. Another plus of the system is it's ability to play old Gameboy Advance games. Overall the dual screens, stylus and mic add a great deal to games which make use of them. I remember finding the first time I found myself yelling at my Nintendo DS for a Zelda game to be quite humorous.
