Continuing in the pro-antioxidant vein, green tea is great for achieving and maintaining healthy skin. Scoured from several publications: The the three major types of tea (black, green, and oolong), green tea is the least processed and thus provides the most antioxidant polyphenols. Green tea drinkers appear to have lower risk for a wide range of diseases, from simple bacterial or viral infections to chronic degenerative conditions including cardiovascular disease, cancer, stroke, periodontal disease, and osteoporosis.
