etched leaves pendant on silk
This lovely small and subtle pendant has been created by etching a dense pattern of leaves into a piece of sterling silver, before sawing out this simple teardrop shape and doming it slightly at the larger end to give it an organic shape. The etched areas have been given a soft and muted white silver oxide finish by way of repeated heating. The raised areas have then been gently sanded back, leaving an eye-catching, shiny silver finish. The pendant has a really nice light weight to it and is suspended on a soft green length of natural silk thread which features handmade sterling silver findings. Made by me!

This is an Avon 1960's- 1970's silver tone and black plastic pendant on a silver tone chain. The pendant is 3 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide at the widest part. The chain is 24 3/8" long and has a spring ring clasp.
