The Complete Keller: "French Laundry Cookbook" & "Bouchon"
Stunningly beautiful. Having eaten at French Laundry once upon a time, I can only aspire to create such astonishing dishes. Many of the recipes are not feasible by mere mortals, but a few are achievable, and talk about wow factor!

As big as a coffee tabletop itself, my copy of the Bouchon cookbook by Thomas Keller never makes its way to my kitchen, but the book is stunning. I love sitting on my couch on a lazy Sunday afternoon flipping through its pages and just dreaming of how delicious the food is. One day, I may actually attempt something in the book, but I just don't want to mess up the beautiful pages in the kitchen.

Ok, let's be real here, I'm not really ambitious enough to even use a kit either, but I'm sure I can find someone who can manage all the steps: brining, battering, and of course, frying.

Blackberry infused dark balsamic vinegar is amazing with a pinch of sea salt, grated lemon peel, fresh pepper, and olive oil...poured over wild rice mixed with dried apricots or cranberries. Ridiculous.
