Two Quik Tops Can Sealers

Two Quik Tops Can Sealers

It's about time we can up with something to stop those half empty cans of soda from fizzing out. I have never been able to drink a full can of soda, and for some reason even when I drink the plastic bottles, they never seem to stay fizzy. This cool invention called the Quik Top Can Sealers is a perfect way to take a few sips and close it back up without loosing all that wonderful fizz.

Personally it healthier (we don’t know where that water comes from) and it saves money (maybe it’s tap water we are buying). 2. Collectively, it protects the environment (it takes 17 million barrels of oil to make water bottles for the US market alone) Look around, there are empty water bottles littering beaches, streets, parks, everywhere. Perk: Great for travel

This particular design has a silicone lid that securely attaches to the cup. The outside is matte and the inside is glazed. I prefer a version that Starbucks put out a few months ago. Their version is pretty much the same, but the outside is glazed (and of course has their logo) and the lid is plastic with a silicone liner to keep liquids sealed in. The key difference between the two is the price. "I Am Not A Paper Cup" is roughly $20 and the Starbucks version is $12. The upsides to either is that if you are a daily coffee drinker, you don't have to trash a paper cup and plastic lid every time you get take-out coffee. The downside is that both of them hold about 8 oz. - not favorable if you normally order a "grande" at Starbucks. Another issue for commuters is that it is not spill-proof or splash-proof. And finally, the Starbucks version CANNOT go into the microwave.

  • Design is a good thing - this is designed after the paper cups that work so very well. Just the right size to fit in the cup holder in the car.

  • Nothing tastes better than french pressed coffee in the morning. This ingenious adaptation lets you brew on the run!

  • Great form and great function meet in this silicone bowl and cup set. The fold flat squishy-ness makes them perfect for backpacking, picnics and the like- but they're just as great as a regular tool in the modern kitchen.

Morning is THE worst time of the day for me because it is SO hectic! There is no time to think, much less drag out my big blender to mix my diet drink breakfast. I put the ingredients in the Mix & Go and in a few moments the drink is ready. What's even better is that I just rinse off the mixer part, put it in the drainer, and go to face the other issues of the morning. Another aspect of this fabulous machine is that since drinking Tang as a child, I haven't been able to stand half-mixed, grainy drinks! With the Mix & Go, that is not an issue. It mixes everything to my exacting specifications. Even my teenagers (who are not heavy into cleaning up anything) find it easy to mix their drinks and keep Mom happy because of its easy cleanup. All-in-all, this was one of the best items I have purchased in quite a long time. If your life is anything like mine, you should get one too!
