Ceramic Berry Baskets

Ceramic Berry Baskets

These ceramic berry baskets (and colander) remind me of the birch baskets we used to use for picking plums in my Aunt Cleo's ftont yard. I decided to pick some up for my mom to use in her kitchen, as they are simple and white, blending with both the decor in the place she lives in now, as well as the white ceramic fruit tiles that line the kitchen in the house she hopes to return to in the next few years. I love them so much that I may get some for myself as well, after I get a chance to lay my hands on them and see if they're for me. These reusable baskets can be used for keeping ripening fruit displayed on a kitchen counter or table, lined with a decorative napkin they would be a lovely way to present breads or crackers for an appetizer. I'll be filling one with a hand-knit scarf all wrapped up like a loaf of bread for my mother's Christmas gift. Get creative!
