Whistle Seats were these super comfy chairs on the floor of my elementary school library. You would sit on the flat part and lean against the rounded back - they looked just like an upside-down whistle! This is like Whistle Seat 2.0. It's got a new design, it's been turned on its side, it's ergonomically designed, and it's less than $300, which is next to impossible for such a cool piece :)

We’ll shed a tear, and then we’ll move on. Matt XXXX decided to take all those forgotten bikes and restore them to usefulness – as Frankensteined furniture. Each stool, chair and coat rack that he makes is a collection of discarded bike parts that has been lovingly “upcycled” into a piece of functional art that you will want to put in your living room.

Plus the chairs that go with it remind me of elementary school art class :)

I was introduced to LittleMissMatched when the bookstore I work at part time started carrying her 3-packs of socks. I was thrilled with these fun items (3 socks that 'go together' but don't 'match') and quickly spent way too much money on oh so many packs. However, I just recently discovered her furniture collection, which is a kid's (and mine) dream come true! This dresser not only comes with tons of panels that you can switch out to change the look of the drawer openings, and fun striped drawer interiors, but the entire dresser is made of dry-erase material!!! There's so much fun built into this piece that actually encourages kids to draw on their furniture as it is completely washable. So, so cool :)
