Sure there's the iphone and itouch now and the 60 gb version of te video ipod holds more, but this is best for those who are looking for an inexpensive alternative to boring or dull rides to work or school. It's a must for anyone who travels or goes anywhere. It stores up to 7,500 songs, 20,000 photos, or 75 hours of video playback. It has a 2.5-inch (diagonal) color LCD with LED backlight and up to 14 hours of music playback; up to 3 hours of slideshows with music; up to 2 hours of video playback. It comes with earbud headphones and USB cable and is compatible with Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 or later, or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later. the iTunes is an easy program to use to get all your music and video on without any problems. First-time users will not have to worry because it is simple to use. It's also great when working out and small enough to fit in any pocket. Buying a case with it is recommended because it might fall, but the plastic cases for $19.99 are fine and durable. Overall on a scale of 1=10, this is definetly a 10.

I don't care about the built in pedometer or the built video camera--I knew that was coming one day--it's a no brainer, but I'm overjoyed that it finally comes with FM Radio!!! I've had this iPod since it came out, and it still works great (knocking on wood). True it's a little bigger than the new ones, but if you're looking for an entry level mp3 player, this one will do the job

My husband got me a new Ipod Nano (3rd Gen) for my birthday and I am absolutely addicted to it. I have several movies and TV shows loaded, a bunch of songs, photos.... It is an absolute must have. What a great device for people on the go! Load your videos or movies, charge it up and go. Granted small screen compared with your TV at home, but perfect for plane or bus trips. Also makes a great present.

While I'm not one for adding any more portable gadgets to my collection, this media player is awfully tempting. It has a vibrant touch-screen and a built-in FM tuner.
