Charming, chic, and one-of-a-kind, this custom-decorated vintage white wicker picnic basket purse from “Allan’s Originals” typifies the 50s Miami souvenir purse at its best. Adorned with an all-over dusting of gold spray paint, clear rhinestones, and painted musical notes, the lid features a central collage of shells, faux pearls, and a French horn, that resemble nothing so much as an assemblage of gilt underwater treasures in Poseidon’s deep-sea counting house. The wicker body and double handles of the purse are dusted in gold paint as well, and the interior is lined in champagne satin. Underside of the lid reads “Allan’s Originals, By Style-Rite Jewelry Co., Miami, Florida”. Measuring 10” wide x 5” high x 5” deep, the purse is in excellent condition.

This bright and striking Pucci is done is outrageous primary colors to make any outfit stand out in a crowd! The style is very flat with a front flap that folds over and snaps in place. The interior sports two pockets, one which secures with a twist clasp. The velvet is done in a multitude of colors including magenta, red, lime green and so on. The “Emilio” signature can be seen on the exterior velvet. The purse is finished with a black leather trim. The interior is also black leather with “Emilio Pucci by Jana” “Made in Italy” stamped in Gold. There is also a Neiman Marcus tag as well as a tiny Neiman Marcus comb in a specially made pocket. A rare purse to enjoy with any outfit and an absolute MUST for Pucci collectors.
