Warther Knives

Warther Knives

These knives are beautiful. The are sold in sets and separately. Ernest "Mooney" Warther, a wonderful carver, started making knives in 1902. Family carries on this practice of making knives. They grind and polish each knife by hand and are easy identifiable by the circular patterns. Wonderful wedding gift or Christmas gift. Free sharpening for the life of the knife. These are truly exceptional. The museum is less than an hour away. I'd highly recommend if you are ever in Ohio. He did many unbelievable carvings of trains. The Smithsonian has tried ever-so-hard to acquire them, but his family is adhering to his wishes - of his work to stay where he did it.
