I was one of the first million U.S. iphone users, and I've had a love hate relationship with the thing. Most of the iphone works well, but other stuff like the lack of copy and paste functionality is disappointing, still when I'm not using it to follow up on internet dates, I text friends, check on the weather, surf the web and take photos of whatever I like, and guess what I actually don't use it for listening to music, or watching video--call me crazy but I use the iphone more for the web than for anything else, but that's why I wanted one of these overpriced gadgets, the large window, big buttons, and clear easy to read UI make the iphone a better choice for me than the other 07 mobile phones on the market. Product description: iPhone combines three amazing products - a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough internet communications device with the best email ever on a mobile phone, web browsing, maps, and searching - into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.

You put a sensor outside and this thing creates a wireless link and can tell you inside temp/humidity, outside temp/humidity, barometric pressure, comfort level, moon phase, and it uses this info to predict weather conditions with surprising accuracy. The sensor even syncs with the atomic clock at the National Institute of Standards & Technology in Colorado to show you the exact time from "the" atomic clock to the second. It's accurate to ten billionths of a second per day. Word. There are other less expensive weather stations on the La Crosse site and I'm sure they're as useful. Weather is awesome.
