The stones are made of soapstone which is non-porous and will not impact the flavor of your drink. I think it would be fun to have on hand just to see the look on someone's face when they ask for a drink "on the rocks" and you hand them a drink that actually has rocks in it.

This one is robustly full bodied, well-balanced and smooth with a slight sweetness on the palate. Mmm. Should be enjoyed neat.

My friend turned me on to Basil Hayden. It's better to have it on the rocks than neat. Can't explain it but I find myself asking for that now instead of my previous, Jameson. Good stuff.

sweet, almost bourbon-sweet, as i recall. delicious sherry flavors and amazing complexity. unfortunately, most of the memories around the rest of the night are rather blurry. pretty expensive, too.
