The anime is COMPLETELY different. It has been toned down a couple of notches so that kids can watch it too and the atmosphere is just different. I for one, was dissapointed by it, maybe because I had read it previously. Nevertheless, the manga is a whole nother story. Written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda, this piece has entertained fans since 1998. The premise: A young boy sails out to conquer the world and become the next pirate king. On his way he finds friends who acompany him on his journey, each following their own dream. The plot is simple, yet the twists in the story leave you with your jaw on the floor. The characters are really likeable and each have their unique, corky features. And holy shit it is so funny! I once choked on my noodles because of it. It is always a joy when you find a book that is actually capable of making you laugh out loud while reading it. The artwork is interesting, while some initally suspected it to be an imitation of Akira Toriyama, Oda certainly mastered a style of his own. His creations go from cool to creepy, from cute to corky. Anyway, it's my favorite manga, it's a definet read!

I love Jajangmyeon. I'm a noodle fiend so I can't get enough. It's a Korean Chinese dish. I haven't been able to find it at restaurants here in the States. I eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch almost every day. It is the best breakfast cereal I have ever tasted. Basically it is but crunchy squares with cinnamon sugar surronding it. It is delicous.

With a soundscape crafted heavily by Justus League member Khrysis, former LB producer 9th Wonder and JL affliate Nicolay, Pooh's first effort came off with great replay value. The album told a postitive story through imagery from Spike Lee's School Daze. Guest shots from Phonte, Murs and Pooh partner O-Dash were certainly memorable. But the album is a declaration of independence for Big Pooh. And a very polished one at that.
