Tretorn Plask Boot
In the past, when it rained, my feet got wet. I am vain. Therefore I refuse to succumb to saccharine cute rain boots or Wellingtons that make me look like an overgrown 5 year old. I want to look put together and keep my socks dry – and I certainly don’t want to drench my Jimmy Choos. Thankfully, Sweden based Tretorn saw a hole in the market and launched a new line of rubber boots that don’t scream “I’m only dressing this way because the weather sucks.” The Plask, with a 2-inch wedge heel and sexy slim profile is perfect for tucking those skinny jeans (bonus: no wet hems!). The boots drew envious glances from gals on the street as I stomped through puddles and indoors, as I made the trek from bar to bathroom.

These will hold up for a while. They don't really scream spring at first glance, but I'm excited to rock these throughout mud season. They'll be great this fall too. Fit is true to size.

Someone must have hit the people at Ugg with a pretty stick before they decided to create these. Seriously! How reasonable are these boots? I am by no means a fan of Ugg, but they are seriously tempting me with these!

Have fun with your fall flats and opt for a bright jewel tone. Michael Kors' Hanna flats are a great pick - the patent ostrich is playful yet chic, true quality from a go-to American designer.
