Here is the chi-chi bbq for the chi-chi burner. It's Radius' new portable grill. It rocks. Nicely designed by their team.

Airstream Interstate

Description
This is a bit snobbish of me, but I am going to tell the truth. I REALLY, REALLY want an Airstream for Burning Man.
Originally, I wanted the trailer. Used, new, funky, euro-trash... I didn't care. Any Airstream. Then my boyfriend said, "You can't really make u-turns towing an airstream, you know..."
My world collapsed. I get lost like nobody's business. If I can't make u-turns, I will never get further than the first exist off the highway.
Then I found this. The Van version! We can all dream, right?

Pink Gerbera Daisy Umbrella

Description
Now this is am umbrella I would like to walk around with in my pink hot pants and pink boots at Burning Man!
ps. If you're sensitive to sun, bring an umbrella. It will save your poor scalp, and face, and shoulders. And ah, other parts of the body too, depending on your costume.

Battery Operated 6.5" LED Fluorescent Glow Sticks

Description
You can never have too many glow sticks at Burning Man. No, they're not for waving back and forth at a DJ while you're on the dance floor. (Though, I did witness "kids" doing this when Oakenfold and Tiesto spun at the 2005 Burning Man. My head was shaking. It's not a concert, folks!)
Anyhow, I clip these to my backpack, tape them on the spokes of my bike (which creates fancy spinning lights when you are riding), tie them to my tent stakes so people don't trip, and yes, even use them as ambient lighting if the night calls for it. They're very handy!
For a VERY funny video of how great glow sticks are, check out this video I've referenced. Seriously, it's excellent! (via First Person in HIstory of the World to Dance)

Bicycle Combination Cable Lock
First to recommend
Description
At Burning Man, you will want a combination lock for your bike because most likely, you will lose your key dancing in the middle of nowhere... The walk back can be very long and lonely (oh, I wouldn't count on friends sacrificing their bikes to walk with you...). But you may forget the numbers? Nah. Code it 111 or 123 or 222 - something easy to remember. The lock is not to protect your bike from thieves. It's to "help" confused individuals understand your bike is not theirs. People accidentally take the wrong bike all the time. This lock acts as pure hinderance to avoid the "borrowing" your bike (until they realize it's not theirs, which is usually 24 hours later).

6in Releasable Cable Zip Tie
First to recommend
Description
I've only recently discovered the reusable zip ties. It has a little release tab you can push down to release the grip. Since Burning Man is about green this year, I suppose changing to these would be ideal. The other ties require cutting to remove. Waste of plastic.

Ziploc Freezer Bag 2 Gallon
First to recommend
Description
The 2 gallon ziplocs are perfect for storing clothes individually airtight to prevent playa dust damage. The pull tab makes it easy to remove items and return them again after wear. Even inside the plastic bins, the dust will find their way to your stuff. Very handy to have ziplocs around.

Flip Lid Storage Box - 4 Pack

Description
This is the only way to store your clothes to keep them clean at Burning Man. The dust is very fine and it will take over your tent and everything you have inside. These are not 100% airtight but they still work well. I like the see-through ones for quick identification of content (if it's easy to do so, like my shoes box).

WHITE DISTILLED VINEGAR
First to recommend
Description
If you've been to Burning Man, you'll know how playa mud can change your flat shoes to platform shoes by the end of the day. You literally end up an inch taller because of the mud caking at the bottom of your feet. For some who dare to wear open-toe shoes... Oh, the mud in between the toes! Vinegar is the trick to getting playa dust off your feet (and shoes). At the end of the day, soak your feet in vinegar and water... The dust will dissolve.

Sea Plasma All Purpose Skin and Hair Moisturizing Spray

Description
If you have long hair, expect to have dreadlocks by the end of Burning Man. All the dust and the lack of long, luxurious showers will leave your hair dry, dirty and tangled. I recommend a leave-in conditioning spray. This one can be used for skin as well, which is a plus. If you have heat-sensitive hair, select heat protective sprays.

About Burner:
Burning Man attendee from the Bakers Beach days in San Francisco when it was 250 attendees to current Black Rock visits at 45,000 attendees. No matter what they say, forget it. It's still a cultural phenomenon and worth at least one visit...
