Lewisa Boots by Born

First to recommend

Description

I swear by this company for any type of shoes that can be worn for hours on end. Love these boots. Comes in a few different shades, but I'm really loving the tan color for fall/winter.

Pool KO Flatte Nail Polish

First to recommend

Description

From the same makers of the matte gray/black and white (and then light pink) nail polish. They now have a few new wonderful colors to add like this lovely bright blue/green polish, aptly name Pool. Also, KO (Knock Out) Products now makes a top coat that you can buy as well, to keep the matte look longer.

Karen KO Flatte Nail Polish

First to recommend

Description

A beautiful bright red matte nail polish. Inspired by Karen of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, this is the brightest matte nail polish I've seen yet. And it comes from KO (Knock Out) Products, so you know it's a high quality product. Also, if you want to keep the matte look, KO now has a Flatte top/base coat that you can also buy. The most comfortable and stylish boots ever. And, they're rain boots! The heel is the perfect height, so you can still get traction walking in the rain, while also being a stylish addition to the usual rain boots.

Science Gift! Or an interesting conversation starter...or just something to stare at. Would be great gift for the biologist in your life. Or you could wear it for a physiology exam--the dendrites connect to the axon, which connect to other axons over the synaptic gap...and so on....

Mike Shinoda "Neuphoria" Skate Deck

First to recommend

Description

Saw his show at the Japanese American National Museum. "Glorious Excess Dies." Very marketble, but also still artistic. Amazing bright colors. Love the skateboards the most. It's like having a piece of art with you always. (Plus the proceeds go to Music For Relief and the Michael K. Shinoda Endowed Scholarship at Art Center College Of Design, so it's all for a good cause.)

01The One Odin's Rage in All White

First to recommend

Description

I love the 01The One watches, but this is by far my favorite! The stark contrast of the white leather band and the white face is perfectly complemented by the blue lights that show the time in a binary format. The coolest function on the watch is just reading the time--you push the button on the side of the watch, the lights twirl around in a full rotation, finally landing on the exact time. Don't worry if you don't know how to read the binary function, it comes with an instruction booklet!

Glow Fingernails

Description

These glow nails are insane. They're nail-shaped pieces with interior glow-tubes that can be easily activated for 4 hours of glow-time. Uses double-sided tape to stick to fingers. Comes in pink, blue or green.

A friend of mine is dressing up this Halloween as a bright-colored parrot (how he found this costume, I do not know, but it's fabulous!). We were just brainstorming on what to do with his feet... The pink ones would be so funny on his toes!
