Leopard Print Shoes are so much fun. I love these sandals. They are comfortable, affordable, and will look great for some of my holiday parties.
The leopard print sandal is so dressy. It is covered by a beautiful matte satin--which makes it very chic. The ankle strap makes this shoe even more feminine and the heel is covered in the leopard print satin, as well--making the sandal very polished.
The gorgeous womens shoe looks fabulous with my black velvet slacks and my long black velvet skirt. I add a red sweater over my top. This ensemble melds well with the holidays.

Black and White Diamond Ring for Men

Diamond rings are for men, too, and just found the most gorgeous ring for men. My gosh it is one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen for men.
It is a cross between the 40s glam era and today's hip style. The man who would wear this would certainly be a stand out. Can you imagine how good it would look on a man who has big hands, how sexy it would look on his pinky finger?
And for men who think rings are just okay but don't know what to wear for their wedding ring...this is the perfect wedding ring. It is classic and unlike the band--has some style, but like the band, will go with everything.

This is soooo delish. Yum. I found two fun recipes for the speciality cocoa at 'Of Food and Wine' and am so glad we tried it. You may want to get a couple of extra tins to keep on hand through out the year after you try this. We are going to get some extras, as this is a specialty item that isn't sold through the year.
One of the fun things we do with our children in the winter is make them hot cocoa, which the children love, and so do we. This is a short version of what was gleaned from the article at Of Food and Wine.
Make the cocoa according to directions using water instead of milk. Then, pour the steaming hot cocoa in a blender with some ice and a bit of milk Or vanilla ice cream OR a bit of vanilla yogurt. We blend it up and wha-la, you've got the best peppermint chocolate shake ever.
And, the calories are so much less than getting them at the fast food places. These are delicious and now a specialty of the house.
There are a few more tips in the article, but this will get you into a new addiction and a new treat, I promise.
These make great gifts for people, too. 'Of Food and Wine' has two recipes you can copy, paste and print so you can keep them on file or decorate a gift basket with them. They are really well done.

Gold pumps just in time for the holidays! Just got mine last week and so glad I did. They are awesome, love. Gold is so hot and beige so yesterday. And, even though it is holiday time, I like that my shoes are elegant and not flashy! I don't want to be competing with the Christmas tree lights.
Having never owned gold high heels before was a bit nervous about this, but wanted something fabulous for the holiday parties we will be attending. These really fit the bill.
Did something uncharacteristic, wore them out of the box to a luncheon without having had time to break them in. To my amazement, the gold high heel pumps were very comfortable.
My feet swell when I sit for a long time. And, true to form, with all the sodium in our banquet food, my feet did swell. The really friendly and competent staff at Your-Shoe-Store.com said the gold womens shoe runs a wee bit small and upon their recommendation, ordered them a half size bigger. They fit perfectly and as stated earlier, they are comfortable.
Several women at the luncheon complimented me on my beautiful high heels. I had seen some similar to them at the department store, selling for $300...these look like they are very expensive. The price surprised me, had to do a double take to see if I read it correctly. They are very reasonably priced AND they were sent with free shipping!
Was running around town a few days after the luncheon and a lady remembered me from my high heels! So, not only was my talk memorable, so were my shoes. Guess you really can make an impression by being elegantly dressed. And, love that i can be well-dressed on a 'shoe-string' budget!
The gold pumps will be fantastic for all of our holiday events and holiday parties. So glad I got these! The gold pumps are made of a soft leather-like material and the matte gold has a soft sheen. The insole is padded and the shoes are very well made.

The boomer hot list is not based on just looks, it is based on what they are up to...primarily of creating things bigger than themselves, amongst other things. You can tell they put in a lot of thought as to who qualified for the list. The people are inspiring, interesting, and fun.
There are artists, athletes, cartoonists, authors, musicians, business people, Internet trailblazers, designers, actors, doctors and more. The quotes from the baby boomers are interesting, and the reasons why they were chosen are fun.
Perlman was chosen for his incredible acting ability--remember him in Beauty and the Beast? His velvet voice as the beast with the beautiful personality. How about when he played the hunchback or hellboy? As well as always being a meaty character actor in film and onstage. This actor is under rated by Hollywood standards, yet well loved by a large fanbase. And, Living Life...Boomer Style magazine seems to have a sense of these things.
This is one of the best reads I have had in a long time. The online magazine is interactive and interesting. They also have some bangin' tunes to watch the slide shows to. Difficult to keep from dancing. And, you get to choose your favorite female and male for the list to vote them as the number one boomer hot of 2009. What fun.
This is well worth several coffee breaks and taking your time to go through. Savoring the music, images, and quotes made for many well spent breaks for me. I think it will for you, as well. (via Boomer Hot 2009)

The beautiful womens shoe has a sheer organza ruffle running up the foot to the adjustable ankle strap. The organza ruffle is edged in satin and the strappy straps are satin. The heel is also satin wrapped, making for a beautiful and elegant sandal.

Love this blouse. Love the lower waist where the belt goes, and the V neck which is very slimming. The ruffles around the neck are gorgeous, too.
I can see this would be a very flexible blouse as it looks good paired with the black jeans on the model, it would bode well for the office, and could be very hot for the night club scene, a romantic dinner out and with a long velvet skirt great for cocktail parties during the holidays or any after five events.
The A-line shape or cut is very slimming--giving one a long, lean, slimming look. Plus, it has the ability to show your waistline.
I love the fact, too, that it is made of silk--yum and luxurious. Wow. Bet it feels lovely on the skin. Gorgeous, this is simply gorgeous.
And, of course, I know the absolutely most perfect shoes to wear with this ruffled silk organza halter top. You have got to check it out-- will do a recommendation for it next. The title will be: Black Satin Sandals.

Living Life...Boomer Style magazine is one of my favorite online magazines to read. There are more than 35 departments in this magazine and all of them are interesting. The magazine is life about baby boomers, yet the stories and articles are interesting to people of all ages.
The magazine has just released their annual Boomer Hot issue--every year they choose 100 females and 100 males as the top baby boomers of that year. Then, their readers vote for their favorite male and female from the list and choose who is the number one boomer hot female and male of the year.
The people they choose are fascinating and from all walks of life and interests, incredible collection of individuals who are inspiring . Fresh, fun, and interesting.

Silver Bridal Shoes

The silver bridal shoes I found are so gorgeous, the picture doesn't do them justice. You cannot see the sheer organza ruffle with the lace edging that runs up the top of the shoe or the subtle shimmer of the luxurious satin straps.
The silver sandals are elegant with the white satin wedding dress. The colors together are ah-mazing. What a beautiful bride in this combination.
Something really wonderful is I will be able to wear the silver bridal shoes for other events after the wedding. I won't have to pack them up as a keepsake.
The sandals will be perfect for cocktail parties, to wear during the holidays, when we go to shows, out dancing and even when I want to look a bit dressier in my jeans.
