My Terrace Garden in Harlem

First to recommend

Description

Not only does this garden provide herbs like sage basil, and oregano, peppers, tomatoes, collard greens, and broccoli but it provides a little piece of the country among the concrete and steel of the city. I can sit and unwind with a nice glass of my favorite drink and forget for a moment the grind.

Description

I have at least six of these shirts that help you make the transition from casual to more formal party wear. Even if you’re not Latin you can look the part after the cooking is done. My last two came from this store, direct from Little Havana, Florida. Actually, one is a Guayabera. The other is what I call the Ricky Ricardo shirt.

OXO Food Mill

Description

I prepare the apples for my signature “Christmas In A Jar™” apple butter. Infuse tomato sauce with the flavors of garlic and oregano before I cook them. It can take the place of a mortar and pestle in some cases when you want to get the most out of the flavors you are trying to layer in a sauce.
