Gunter Wilhelm knives are something that I discovered in my travels. A knife is an extension of the chef. Not only are these knives stylish, they feel great in the hand and come with competitive prices.

Nuestra Tierra . Clay Cookware

First to recommend

Description

The next best thing to my Grandma’s rice pot would be these Colombian black clay pots. They are very strong as well as unique looking. You can’t put them in the dishwasher but they can go in the microwave and of course can be used on the stove or in the oven, and go straight to the table, if necessary, because they are also attractive. They are suitable for all types of cuisines, and are great for making rice and stews.

Tostobueno Tostanera

Description

Plantains are popular in my home. Tostones are twice-fried green plantain chips. A tostonera is a device made of two pieces of wood with handles that look like bread boards and are connected by hinges on the ends without handles. A piece of fried plantain is placed between the pieces and the handles are pressed together to flatten the plaintain. Tostobueno makes a very good tostonera as you can make 3 or more at a time.
