Incandescent bulbs burn much hotter than the more energy effecient compact fluorescent bulbs so cool down your reading nook a few degrees and even you house's percieved temp with these bulbs. Switching to compact fluorescents could save you up tp 5% a year in energy costs. These bulbs are much friendlier to the environment and you home.

When I was a teenager my Mom & Dad made the best milk shakes. We had one of these gadgets to make them with. Soda shops always had these to make malts and shakes with. I think a good milkshake can go a long way to curing a lot that ails you on any given day. Apparently back in the heydays of the Soda Shop, many people thought so too, since medicinals and milkshakes were often dispensed from the same counter and served in the same glasses. My Parents were on to somehting back when we were kids...milkshakes as medicine. Smoothies,milkshakes,malts,go crazy!

These things were all the rage in preschool, like I remeber talking up the girls! Introduced in 1961 as the Talk Back Phone, The Chatter Telephone was designed by Fisher Price to introduce children to a rotary phone. Don't you just love the idea of marketing telephones to kids back then. Now you can't keep children away from cell phones and they seem to need no introduction. The Chatter telephone is just so simple and adorable.

A cute little teapot timer that looks a lot like the teapot my grandmother had when I was growing up! Except hers was never quite that shiny because she used it every day to make tea for the ladies. I don't know about this as a wedding favor but it is darling as a kitchen timer!

The name of the particular seasoning gets me - Soup Pot! I love Soup, I mean really who doesn't love soup right. It's somewhat medicinal properties for when you got the "fill in the blank ickies." Whether it be boy trouble or an actual cold it sure does the trick! It is nice to know when you need an aid in the quest for home cooked goodness called Soup Pot seasoning to help.
