White Skulls Strappy Dress - Docblack Dresses

First to recommend

Description

No need to worry, we haven’t spilt red paint over this dress, this is part of the design! And yes, I would imagine it is most likely to represent blood, as opposed to say, a messy eater who has just eaten an espeically tomato ketchupy beefburger! Funky skull motif on a pretty dress, what could be better?

Zebra Print Pencil Skirt

Description

I personally love the whole 1940s type retro revival that’s been going on lately, and this sexy secretary like skirt is a perfect way to channel it. Available in a variety of different patterns. A little bit Marilyn Monroe, a little bit rockabilly, and a lot of wow factor. Good times.

Leopard Print Tiered Mini Skirt - Docblack Skirts

First to recommend

Description

This is a very kawaii skirt, I think you’ll agree (well, you’ll agree if you know that kawaii means ‘cute’, which you do now. Who says fashion can’t be educational?). Lovely tiered silver leopard print, could be done up girlie with ballet pumps and pretty cardi, or rocked down with boots and band t-shirt. Amaze.

Purple Tartan Skirt with Mesh Overlay - Docblack Skirts

First to recommend

Description

Cute purple tartan (or plaid, if you prefer) skirt with black mesh overlay. Kinda a Lolita vibe to this one (in a non creepy way, if that’s possible!). It also puts me in mind of gothic Clueless (the epic 1994 film, for all you whippersnappers out there).

High quality Doc Black original. Size Free. Bikini top not included (although it is available elsewhere on the website, so check it out!)

PS: Please ignore my total fail in Photoshop skills. There is no blue on the bottom of the skirt, just black mesh. But it’s that cavalier, DIY punk attitude that is so loved in the alternative community, right?…Right?

Skeleton Hand Print Bikini - Docblack Bikinis

I hope that skeleton bought her dinner first (not that he would have eaten much of it). I think this bikini is great fun, and you can’t even see the best part, there is another grabby skeleton hand on the bikini and there aren’t many places where it could be…

…it’s on the back of the bottoms.

Pink Zebra Print Bikini - Docblack Bikinis

First to recommend

Description

This a shade of pink is just on the right side of acid (…pink, I mean, not the drug. That’s just a silly thing to do) Your mates will definately not lose you if you rock up to the beach in this bad boy. And if you happen to actually BE a boy, it becomes doubly true, although I guess in that situation the colour of the bikini becomes some what of a moot point. Either way, this is very cool beach type wear!

One Size fits all.

Scarves with Animal Print (Various Colours) Scarf

First to recommend

Description

Animal print can be an intimidating thing to introduce into one’s wardrobe, so why don’t add just a dash with a funky animal print scarf? To choose from: Leopards and tigers and zebras, oh my. (It’s an over-referenced line, but a good one – Wizard Of Oz for those who didn’t get it). And check out the other patterns and colours available, it’s like somthing you’d find over the rainbow (OK, I’ll stop now).

Black Velvet Hair Bands (Various Styles)

First to recommend

Description

I’ve been reliably informed that due to the popularity of teenage TV programmes such as Gossip Girl (which I’ve never seen – Bring back Heartbreak High!) alice bands and headbands have become pretty popular in a fashion sense, so here’s the gothic take on it all – enjoy!

PS: It seems the two head bands named as ‘plaited’ and ‘twisted’ look a bit similar, the difference is the ‘twisted’ design is the one with the raised bits, for lack of a more technical word!

About DocBlack:

I work for a small independent alternative clothing company in the UK. Part of my job is spreading the word about our great stock, but I also love unearthing internet gems that are unique and different. Hopefully I'll find me some of those, whilst helping others to find them too! (heres a good place to start - www.docblack.co.uk)
