Trend in design?

Design is moving away from trends and toward individuality.

I own it, and yep, it's a Prius.

Big step you’d like to make?

I'm walking the walk on responsible living. I'd also maybe like to move to a truly modern house. However, my house is re-used (1910) so in its own way it's a good choice.

Vacation you’ll take?

Going to Cambodia and Vietnam this fall. Paris too, but I can't miss a year without going to France.

Thing you’re going to fight for?

Fair trade. Awareness of labor issues, particularly as regards child labor. Awareness of trafficking issues.

Creme de la Mer.

Every book I can lay my hands on.

When people who think they as one person can't change the world change their minds.
