Description

I'm a sucker for lighting with a sense of humor, and as soon as I find a place to put this, it's going in my house. Reminiscent of the Droog milk bottle lamps but not as ubiquitous, this will bring the spirit of Italian aperitifs to your decor!

I think these are the world's goofiest shoes. Funnily enough, people love them and ask where I got them constantly (on the rare occasions that they are even worn in public). The idea is that MBT's simulate walking barefoot on soft ground, which increases the muscle work in your lower body, thus making a walk more efficient. They do provide great results and are genuinely fun to walk around in. These are the high model, which is supposed to be a tougher workout.

This is as geeky as geeky comes, but here's what rocks about it: this hard drive contains a TERABYTE of storage. Yes folks, that's a thousand gigs, 12+ current top of the line iPods. If you have a lot of digital music, this is what to get, especially if you're like me and it's all in large high-quality files. This sucker would hold about 250,000 songs in standard mp3 or AAC format. The Terastation is pretty hard to fill up, even when you're a diehard music fanatic like me. It works well with a Sonos system, too.
The Terastation is pretty cool-looking, with a perfectly useless blue light that circles round and round indicating, as far as I can tell, absolutely nothing. They make a "home" version that's really ugly, so, go for this one.

Description

The most elegant solution currently available for listening to all your stored and subscription digital music at home. Basically, Sonos accesses every supported music file on your wireless network and collates them all into one management system. I use my Sonos with a Buffalo Terastation and can access my Rhapsody subscription, enabling me to have millions of songs at my fingertips. Sonos uses an iPod-like controller with a scrollwheel to manage artists, genres, tracks, etc. and to create playlists. You can separate your house into "zones" and control different music in each zone.
This thing is addictive and they should pay me royalties for the number of people who've bought it after seeing it at my house. Designwise it's not too bad either, with an unobtrusive ivory plastic thing happening.

Not only can you lock your luggage and not have the TSA chasing you (or hacksawing off your lock), this has a perfectly classic design sensibility. Now how mine got nicked by Air France and replaced with one in a DIFFERENT COLOR, I will never know....

A brightly colored passport cover is a must. It will ameliorate the inevitable sense of panic when you glance in your bag and wonder "did I remember my....?" Yes, you did. Plus it keeps the document from getting completely beaten up, although it's too late for mine.

Description

This is a great line and not just because my friend launched it. I have the pink bikini with crystals, but love this "crazy circles" suit. CdB use a Brazilian cut modified for the European/American audience, so it's less skimpy than many Brazilian bikinis.

This is a killer bikini. It's hard to find, but it's gorgeous. The cutouts are very chic, and the top comes in bra sizes (thank you, Deity). The one I have is white which means it survived vacations for only about six months or so.

These are very cool. I first found them shown in a bathroom, and i still love that look: clean white spa minimalism offset by natural wood. The wood of course is reclaimed.
