I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barnard College of Columbia University, and earned my Grand Diplome in pastry arts from The French Culinary Institute of New York. I am certified in food safety by the New York Restaurant Association’s ServSafe program and am a proud recipient of the prestigious NYC chapter of Les Dames D’Escoffier Scholarship for women. I have worked as an Assistant Pastry Chef at New York City’s famous Union Square Café, under Food Network Champions Chris Russom and Marjorie Chua at Let Them Eat Cake, and have independently catered for numerous private and corporate clients.
Following a successful career in public relations and internet marketing, I decided to follow my true passion for food and entertainment and founded Bite Catering Couture. Born in London, England, I've had the pleasure of living both in the US and internationally, including London, New York City, Houston and Indonesia. My international perspective and culturally rich foundation continue to push my creative approach to food, use of high quality ingredients, and responsiveness to diverse client needs.
I believe that food is a truly personal experience as it touches on every level of our identity, memory, sensory experience and emotion. It is this warmth, passion, understanding and philosophy that I bring to each of my clients.
