If I'm going to reccommend anything for a reading list this summer I'm kicking it off with this. The Mortal Instruments Series starts off with this book, I am currently reading it and it has to be one of the best fantasy books (and guilty pleasures) since Harry Potter.

I have lived by Solarcaine ever since I was in my early teens. I remember the first time I got sun poisoning. I thought I was truly going to DIE. I lied in bed for a week sleeping on and off with my body soaked in this stuff.
