These things crack me up! I have been hearing a lot of press about them lately.

About Me

Living in the Bay Area, California just trying to figure it all out. In the meantime I'm a nursing student, computer gamer, devour books, serial web shopper, work at a restaurant, and dream of what might be someday... and how the hell to get there.

What is the next...

Purchase you’ll make?

Winter clothes! I own way too many tank tops because I live in California. So when winter rolls around I have 1 sweater. Freezing is no bueno.

Trend in design?

I like the clean lines of modern design, also that modern-deco look I have seen around recently. But I also love natural looking rooms, with dark wood, woven materials, shells, leaves, etc.

Car you’d like to own?

Mini cooper. Black with gun metal silver racing stripes. Or an Audi TT roadster (yum) for a splurge.

Big step you’d like to make?

Swallowing my pride. Getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. Learning to say No.

Fad that will fade?

All of these bright, cartoon character prints covering hoodies and graphic tees that are a hip hop/pop fusion. I know Bathing Ape started a good part of this trend, but now it is just out of control. You know the ones... Its like they exploded a rainbow and some kids cartoon character to create this strange fusion... (gag) what an eyesore. And leggings. (YUCK) Seriously, leggings should only be worn to the gym. Besides, your average woman does not have the twiggy-like legs needed to pull them off anyway. Sure it is high fashion, but not practical enough for everyday people.

Vacation you’ll take?

I got this idea from a travel mag a few years ago. Basically, because of airline alliances, you can purchase 1 fatty ticket that lets you get on any of the flights those alliance carriers take. There are several rules and conditions that you must specify (which also changes the price). Your choices are: how many stops per continent, what direction around the world you will travel, how long will this ticket be good for, etc. When you are ready to leave you go down to the airport and fly standby... pretty much hop on any plane in that air alliance. Then you can jump from country to country, as long as you follow your set conditions. I'm thinking of doing 6 months total, wiith 4 stops in Europe, 2 in Africa, 4 in Asia and 3 in South America... Ah, someday... maybe after college :)

Life you’ll lead?

Just got into Nursing school!

Fountain of youth?

Sleep and Odwalla's Superfood drink. Also take plenty of "me" time to veg out, play, and be goofy.

Book you’ll read?

2 of my current faves: Kite Runner, and Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond as brain food.

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

French fries, Mochi ice cream... Seriously why are there just 6 Mochi's per box? It is hard not to eat them all at once :(

Person to whom you’ll say, “I love you”?

My toy that is a boy....
