I've always been fascinated with everything that's smaller in scale. Though, truth be told when it comes to Airline... more

What is the next…

Town you call home?

Working on obtaining my Euro citizenship so..*trying* to learn a new language. (May just be a really horrible speaking Dutch girl picking tulips & wearing wooden shoes again. For now? I call Vancouver, BC officially home. Though, with a place in Palm Springs - guess where you'll find me when it's not so sunny here or, the rain won't let up...?

Purchase you’ll make?

I'd love to say my next car but, we're all about choosing the right shade of hardwood flooring, ceiling treatments, the perfect furniture..

Car you’d like to own?

We're VW/Audi-German Import kind of people so if I sell my second Jetta, which is my plan for the near future - I'm looking into about three or four possibilities. (Check out my possible car lists to see which ones I'm leaning towards. If you have any input - please let me know, I'd love to hear anything anyone has to say).

Big step you’d like to make?

Well, the big move to another Continent is sort of at the top of my list right now.

Fad that will fade?

Not one to follow trends or fads. There's a reason that they come and go so fast. Definitely not worth putting your money into them.

Life you’ll lead?

Well, I'm already in it, I suppose. But, circumstances can change at anytime and you can be living a different life somewhere else, with a different person, pretty quickly. For this instant though, I'm pretty happy with what I'm doing. Next life I'll lead or, better yet I'll say that I'm changing gears and going back to what I originally wanted to do way back..that's fashion illustration.

Book you’ll read?

I usually already have about four or five books or texts on the go at once. Right now is no different. Not super interesting, I'm reading two Psychology

Thing that will change the world?

Less carcinogens in our foods and around us. Until you find yourself dealing with a family member or worse yet, yourself is faced with cancer, do you realize that we're really slowly killing ourselves.

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

I eat what I love, nothing I don't.

Motto you'll live by?

"Never make someone a priority when they only make you an option."

Movie you'll watch?

I'm a geek! I love documentaries & anything that has a message or grain of truth behind it. Or, I'm really into gore/blood & campy films. (It's all relative, isn't it)?

Music you'll listen to?

I love a variety of music, whatever makes me feel a certain way or, evokes feelings of being in a different place, different time - when I had another smile on my face.

Celebrity you'll emulate?

I have performers that I think are incredible at what they do. However, that doesn't mean I want to try to look like them. To me, that's sort of creepy.

Trend that's going to break ...

I'll be honest, I've never been an individual to follow trends or fads. (Though, there was this period when I was ten that I was cutting off my stirrups to make shorter capris. The whole graffiti look under layered ruffled skirts and cut-off cuffs from whatever tops I could hack apart to make into the fingerless gloves. Add the jelly shoes, the fold over lace trimmed socks and tease the hair up and I thought I was so cool. (That was my whole 80's Madonna virgin & lace look). And other than getting dressed up for a fun night of burlesque, I prefer items to be well tailored, an excellent fit on each person & a look that fits each individual. I don't want to look like every other woman I see walking around me. We're all unique so why look the same?

Team you’ll cheer for?

Not a sports fan really. Only things that I do or, may follow are; biking, (especially local teams) and tri's. I'll play or watch soccer but, haven't for a little while now because of the impact of 12yrs on my knees.
