LA Based interior designer and Home Solutionist!

Come say hi on Twitter at EvangelistaLA!!

Give me your problems, your storage issues, your color and product challenges!

My company helps clients do EVERYTHING for the home, including furniture and paint changes, closet and drawer organization, major renovations and upgrades on the home.

Some of our best recent projects are:

-Design all finishes on a massive Brentwood remodel using only eco friendly materials! Staying within mid-century design style and updating the systems to cutting edge...
-Remodel a guest bathroom in one week!
-Move a young couple into a new home and plan all the furniture and room colors
-Help a woman transition into a home with her boyfriend and two kids! Lots of closet planning and space reorganization
-Do a massive remodel on a couple's first home before they moved in, getting them in the home in time to give birth to their first son! No kidding, the 9 month pregnant mom-to-be helped me select and design everything. Go moms!
-Replace crown and base molding to make a guest room and hallway look more grand
-Install tankless hot water heaters for many clients, saving plenty of $$ and energy costs, and avoiding the problem of leaking water heaters!
-Fix leak in pool. And no, I didn't swim to find it!
-Design and add on a bathroom to help a young family use their home better.
-Select appliances on a budget to fit a retro kitchen remodel. Space useage is key!
-Refinish floors in a darker stain color. We get asked to do this for almost all of our new home buying clients! Ask me about dust free floor refinishing!
-Retrofit drawers in a bathroom to give client more storage. Don't we all need this?
-Move an older client into his home while he is resting offsite.
-Design custom sofa and reupholster coordinating dining chairs. The chairs were over 50 years old! They look dynamite...
-Add railing for safety and expand retaining wall to increase yard for client with children.

... and so many more!

What is the next…

Purchase you’ll make?

A vintage lamp from the 60's!

Trend in design?

Anything simple, eco-friendly, well designed. Anything that serves a purpose and excites the mind...

Car you’d like to own?

An olive green golf cart. Oh yeah.

Big step you’d like to make?

Glue together the canvasses in the corner of my art room. I have these amazing vintage potato sacks from the UK that have a super cool seal on them from The Queen's Growery or something like that ... I've been so busy but need to get them stretched and hung in my dining room!

Fad that will fade?

Having a big ego. Nobody likes a snobby design diva unless they are on TV!!

Oktober Fest!

Thing you’re going to fight for?

I'm fighting to keep LA's contractors and renovation market alive!

Secret that’s going to leak?

Some people have found the 25th and 26th hour in the day. Let me in on it!!!

Hollywood blockbuster going to be about?

This awesome designer who helps her client find a million dollars buried on her property while reworking the sewage line. After (extensive) cleanup, they split the profits and take off work for a year, blowing glass and making pottery. It's a REAL action flick...

Life you’ll lead?

I dunno... this one is pretty great...

Fountain of youth?

playing with dogs, kids, eating well, moisturizer...(damnit i sound like my MOM!)

Book you’ll read?

Guy kawasaki, Reality Check.

Thing that will change the world?

Probably Obama...
