I'm a lifelong Catholic... which means I'm not a very good one. I've given up giving things up for Lent that (to me at least) are pretty pointless... chocolate, candy, sodas, booze... Mostly, I resolve to give up making excuses for not doing the things that make myself and the people around me happy. Spending more time with my family, my dogs and my boyfriend... donating more money to charity, being a good boss and a good colleague... you know, that stuff...

I love the rain... I love the smell, the taste, the temperature... If I could move to Seattle in a little apartment next to Pike Place Market- I'd be a happy, happy camper... unfortunately I live in the land of Perma-Sun. Here is some awesome, charming, kitschy and fabulous rain-gear.
