Description

I can't wait until these come out in July 08! They are pretty steep for nail polishes, $25 a bottle but as a resident of L.A. I have to own a few bottles. Some color names: Rodeo Drive, L.A. Sunrise, L.A. Sunset and Melrose. Seeing that I live off of Melrose I am thinking that is the color for me.

Description

Kat Von D from LA Ink has her own cosmetic line at Sephora. I have a major girl crush on Kat so of course I want this makeup. I really like this eyeshadow palette because the colors are dark and cool, there are some lighter shades mixed in there too which makes it great for spring. Oh great, I just talked myself into buying this. Looks like I need to stop at Sephora today too.

I saw this little nail pen at CVS this weekend while I was picking up a few things for a friend. It was on sale so I decided to pick one up, unfortunately the only color left was red (I wanted to blue) but whatever, red nails are fine.

A little back story on my nail painting skills, I suck! Yeah, I suck really bad at painting my nails. It usually ends in my whole entire hand being covered in polish and/or multiple blips and chips in my nails. It's pretty ugly.

So as I was sitting here making this recommendation I was able to paint my nails with this handy pen. My nails are flawless, yes flawless ... no chips or anything.

It does need a few more coats than what it says on the bottle, I recommend almost 3 coats. I totally plan on buying a few more because it's so easy to throw them in your bag and hook up your nails on a whim

I probably have 30 tubes of lipstick, lip gloss, chapsticks and all that jazz in my makeup kit but none of them were doing the trick as far as conditioning goes. I stopped into Sephora with a lip gloss expert (Jenilynn) so I could get something good.

I ended up getting this stuff, which was at the check out counter. Um, loves it! It's not sticky, it smells great and it's contains conditioners so my lips will stay all soft and wonderful.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes: Eyeliner

After going to Sephora in search of my Chanel waterproof eyeliner only to find that Sephora doesn't carry Chanel eyeliner in the store, I had to settle for something else.

I am glad I did.

I was pointed to Make Up For Ever's waterproof eyeliner pencil and I love it. Not only was it $10 cheap than Chanel's it seems to me like it's just as fabulous.

Today was my first day using it. I put it on at 9:00am and here it is past 3:00 and my liner is still in place. My eyeshadow is all creased but that is an issue all on it's own (damn you MAC-- just kidding MAC I still love you).

Make Up For Ever says this eyeliner will last throughout the most extreme conditions. We will see about that, I am going to give this liner a run for it's money tonight. I will let you know how it goes.

Description

I read about this product in InStyle magazine, shamefully it was from a quote from Ashley Simpson. She was saying how this is her favorite eyeliner because it doesn't run when she is dancing around on stage. I don't do much dancing around on stage but by the end of a stressful workday my eyeliner is usually running down my face -- not a good look. I am going to stop by Sephora today to see if they have it,
