Another glorious sign that I am getting older -- I drink coffee now. I used to be able to get by on my natural high and could stay awake all day. Now I am a cranky old bitch who can't keep it together unless she has a cup.

Let me start off by saying I hate musical movues. I do. I hate them. I tried to watch the movie Rent and I damn near jumped out the window. However since i heard so many great things about Across the Universe in the media as well as right here on ThisNext that I had to give it a watch.

Um ... I freaking LOVE this movie.

It started off a little weird for me since I am not really one for people breaking out into song but once it got going I didn't want the movie to end. Great music, great story -- in fact, I think I might watch it again tonight.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes: Eyeliner

After going to Sephora in search of my Chanel waterproof eyeliner only to find that Sephora doesn't carry Chanel eyeliner in the store, I had to settle for something else.

I am glad I did.

I was pointed to Make Up For Ever's waterproof eyeliner pencil and I love it. Not only was it $10 cheap than Chanel's it seems to me like it's just as fabulous.

Today was my first day using it. I put it on at 9:00am and here it is past 3:00 and my liner is still in place. My eyeshadow is all creased but that is an issue all on it's own (damn you MAC-- just kidding MAC I still love you).

Make Up For Ever says this eyeliner will last throughout the most extreme conditions. We will see about that, I am going to give this liner a run for it's money tonight. I will let you know how it goes.

Out of all of the tanning lotions, I like this one the best. Smells great, the tan is gradual (it works), and its dirt cheap. Pick it up at any drugstore, grocery store, or online and you will have a tan in no time without the harmful rays from the sun.

I totally took Jenilynn's recommendation and picked up this bag. She was making fun of me for being a crazy bag lady because I was always lugging around my huge gym bag, my laptop bag, and my purse -- a change needed to be made. So I totally jocked her style and picked up this bag except I got it in white with a cool black graffiti print and bright orange zippers. It's beyond awesome.

I can fit my laptop in it, my make up fits nicely the detachable bag, there is a bag for my gross gym clothes and tons of pockets for my other stuff. I seriously love this bag. It was only $78, which to me its a steal especially since I just lightened my load by a ton.

I got this awesome shoe tree at Costco yesterday for $16.99! It's totally awesome. I have been looking for the perfect way to store my shoes for sometime and I have finally figured it out. This rack holds 24 pairs of shoes and it spins for easy access. Granted this didn't hold all of my shoes but it's a start. Great buy.

Clean Eating Magazine

Description

This is seriously the best magazine ever, it successfully got me out of my diet hell .. I mean boredom. I mean really I was so sick of eating egg whites and plain turkey -- some may not believe this but I do like taste with my food sometimes.

Clean Eating is awesome. Healthy food with taste. The magazine has handy shopping lists and great articles, which makes healthy eating a breeze. So far I have made the eggplant lasagna but I plain on making the turkey tenders which are coated in a toasted whole wheat pita "batter" and the turkey meatballs with a cherry tomato in the center.

I am so excited for the second issue to come out. I highly recommend this for those in a diet rut.

All of this working out has paid off for me, which basically means I have yet another excuse to go shopping. This weekends mission was to get all new jeans.

During my shopping expedition I came across these pinstriped J & Company jeans. I am a denim junkie and I hadn't heard of this brand. J Brand, yes but J & Company, no. I decided to be daring and tried them on.

Love them!

They fit beautifully, have a sweet low rise, and the back pocket detail is h-o-t. I am planning on getting a few more pairs. I tried on a black pair with skulls on the pocket which were awesome, only problem was they weren't quite my size. Damn the man!

What do you do when you wake up looking like your hair is more fit for a bird than a public appearance? Well, first you put on a hat. Then you put on dark sunglasses. Then you take your hot mess looking self to the nearest Nordstrom for haircare products.

That was me yesterday. My hair look like, well, it looked like a bird's nest. Not sexy at all.

As I was hunting for products a heavenly light shone down on this bottle of Biosilk. It looked glossy and shiny -- everything my hair wasn't. I picked up a bottle and headed straight for the register ... I also picked up a LAMB top and some hair pomade on the way (what they were good deals).

When I got home I wrapped combed and lightly coated my hair with this magical potion. I popped on my D&G scarf and laid on the coach to watch An American in Paris. By the time the movie was over my hair had returned to it's non-bird's nest state. Best money I ever spent (that day).

How this shirt is only $4.99 is beyond me, it's clearly the most awesome tee shirt around. Not many of you know this but I am a die hard Beavis and Butthead fan. I watched it all the time with my best friend when we were in high school.. I even sat on the movie theater floor to watch Beavis and Butthead Do America because they oversold the movie. I even had a Beavis and Butthead necklace!! Man I wish that show still came on, so good.

Gucci Square Frame Sunglasses- Black

Would you look at that, these are the sunglasses that I bought this weekend. I actually got them in brown after much debate with myself over which was better black or brown. Brown won. The brown ones are identical to these except they have a gold bar in the center. These glasses fit my face perfectly which believe it or not, its hard to do. Maybe I have some freakishly odd shaped face or I am super-picky ... I don't know. However when I do find the perfect pair I pick them up, heck maybe I should have picked up black and brown.
