Even though it horrified one of my fellow co-workers I put myself on the wait list for these fugtastic shoes. They are so ugly yet I want them anyways. I have always been intrigued by FitFlops but the basic design made me turn away. This shoe is so f-in crazy that I just have to own it. So once that wait list is over these ugly puppies will be up on my feet and my legs will be super fit.

Description

Every health freak I know says if you were to chose one supplement that flaxseed should be it. I picked up this bag today at Whole Foods. It's great because it's already ground (whole seeds are worthless unless you grind them yourself). This is another ingredient that is going into my protein shake tomorrow morning.

Description

Another something that I picked up at Whole Foods today. I used CLA in the past and it's good stuff. Helps speed up metabolism and is great for cutting down belly fat. It's on sale at Whole Foods right now too, which is great because the good stuff can be pretty pricey.

Description

Protein is so, so important to weight loss and muscle building. Women don't eat nearly enough protein so adding a supplement is always useful. I picked up this protein powder at Whole Foods today. I chose this one because it is free of lactose and doesn't have any added sugar and crap like that. I will be using this in my morning protein shake tomorrow.

These sandals claim to make your legs not only LOOK thinner and fitter but they are said to MAKE them thinner. Flip flops that work on your fitness ... not sure I buy it but it doesn't hurt to try right?

I totally took Jenilynn's recommendation and picked up this bag. She was making fun of me for being a crazy bag lady because I was always lugging around my huge gym bag, my laptop bag, and my purse -- a change needed to be made. So I totally jocked her style and picked up this bag except I got it in white with a cool black graffiti print and bright orange zippers. It's beyond awesome.

I can fit my laptop in it, my make up fits nicely the detachable bag, there is a bag for my gross gym clothes and tons of pockets for my other stuff. I seriously love this bag. It was only $78, which to me its a steal especially since I just lightened my load by a ton.

Clean Eating Magazine

Description

This is seriously the best magazine ever, it successfully got me out of my diet hell .. I mean boredom. I mean really I was so sick of eating egg whites and plain turkey -- some may not believe this but I do like taste with my food sometimes.

Clean Eating is awesome. Healthy food with taste. The magazine has handy shopping lists and great articles, which makes healthy eating a breeze. So far I have made the eggplant lasagna but I plain on making the turkey tenders which are coated in a toasted whole wheat pita "batter" and the turkey meatballs with a cherry tomato in the center.

I am so excited for the second issue to come out. I highly recommend this for those in a diet rut.

I am trying something new, it's called 'Don't look like a total mess at the gym.' I have been pretty serious about my workouts for about 4 months now but I have not been serious about my workout attire. You would think that a girl as fashionable as myself would be dressed to impress at the gym. Instead my gym attire is down right embarrassing. My typical outfit is either a tracksuit that is two sizes too big for me or my pajamas. For some reason I haven't been able to spend my money on workout clothes, I would rather spend that money on jeans or shoes.

This weekend I decided that I was going to buy workout clothes that flattered the body I have been working so hard to get. I didn't want to spend too much money so I went to Target and checked out the C9 line by Champion.

The line is great, very stylish and affordable. I was still a bit weary about spending cash on workout clothes so I hit the clearance rack and did pretty well for myself. I got a great pair of black pants and red top with a built in sports bra.

The comfort level and quality has inspired me so I plan on heading back soon to pick up some goodies, like this silver jacket and the matching pants to go with.

My gym uniform is usually baggy pants, a ratty tee shirt, running shoes and a face only a mother could love. With me being a such a fashion lover it's kind of hard to believe I go anywhere looking like such crap. However, last week when my trainer asked me if I was wearing my pajamas I decided maybe its time I try a little (just a little) harder to look presentable at the gym.

I picked up a few tops by Danskin over the holiday break and tested out my first purchase today at the gym. The pattern is adorable and the busyness of it distracted away from my new found holiday gut. The top has a built in bra that offered a nice amount of support and the material worked well with moisture (thats a not so nasty way to say sweat).

I can't say enough good things about S Factor. I have been taking classes for a year now and I can't imagine not taking them. The classes are so fun. They keep you fit, happy and of course a bit sexy. For those who can't make the class grab the book or DVDs to learn the moves. You won't regret it.

How does that silly saying go? Don't buy a person shoes or they will walk right out of your life? That's crap. Every pair of shoes I have received as gift has been fantastic and these would make the ranks too if someone would be so kind. I really dig this bag because it's not overly "gym bag" looking. Its as beautiful as a handbag but doesn't look so delicate that you can't jam it into your locker. The price is a little steep but this bag will most likely last you a lifetime (if you take care of it).

Whenever I go to the gym I always forget water. Why? Because I never have bottled water in the fridge. I think its time I invested in (or someone should by me) a water bottle. These from Lululemon are adorable and the squeezy style bottle is easy to drink from when you are working out.
