Back when I had long hair I used to wear hats to look cute. Now, with short hair, when I wear a hat it's because something scary is happening with my hair. If I am going to cover up the scary it may as well be with something cute. This hat looks like something a crazy old lady would wear and for some bizarre reason ... I like that.

Normally it would be pretty hard to think about winter hats when its hot as the dickens in Los Angeles right now. Seriously, I don't know what happened but all of a sudden my apartment is feeling like sauna. But as I cruise through ShopBop.com I am instantly starting to feel the chill. The warm chunky knits of Mischa Lampert's hats and scarves are starting to make want a snow storm.
