Description

Frank Daniel, dean of the Czechoslovakian Film School, once said that if you have scenes for a movie mapped out on 3x5 notecards, with each notecard being a scene, that if you have 70 notecards, you have a feature film.

But the bottom line is ideas, it doesn't matter what you right them on.

Never have I been more challenged, perplexed, frustrated, enthralled and breath taken in one span of three hours. Inland Empire was that three hours. And without cows, there would be no cheese in the Inland Empire.

David Lynch is a cinematic genuis that doesnt follow the rules of the mainstream. This is a poster that stands for independence in the boxed up world of movies and true creativity from the best director of our time. While Lynch is having the difficult time of distributing his picture because he refuses to cut down his artwork to please the business of american distributers because they dont think we can follow a three hour long art movie. A beguiling mystery thriller with a sense of erotic menace as a naive young actress (Naomi Watts) arrives in LA and becomes involved with a woman (Laura Ellen Harring) suffering from amnesia after a car accident. This is a great David Lynch movie which needs to be seen a few times to be understood. (via Rose Poirier)

Most women can enter a room and scan every hand for a wedding ring in a matter of seconds without being noticed. No ring is just ambigous. This is a fantasticly stylish idea! When your hand gets scanned (and it does dozens of times daily) you will send the right message: I'm single babe!

Of course, this could be the symbol of a stylish perpetual bachelor - either way, fun times await!
