this platform wedge, i personally love. for one, it's cheap (60 bucks) and two, it's a platform.wedge.sandal. super comfy, and cute. (and makes me feel super tall!)
can't go wrong with these, they come in black, brown, or red patent. (color is where the white is on this pair)

this is a great floor lamp. i've got one in my room and it's perfect for late night reading. it gives off just enough light, yet it is calm and dull--not too bright. and it's only 40 bucks! ikea=my favorite home store.
