About Me

An environmental advocate for more than fifteen years, I am a frequent contributor to the Fort Worth Weekly and have been published or written about in the New York Times, Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, USA Today, Smithsonian, National Geographic, Denver Post, Congressional Quarterly, Houston Chronicle, Albuquerque Journal, and many others. GHETTO PLAINSMAN is my first book. I am the founder and President of the Great Plains Restoration Council, based in Fort Worth, TX., Denver, CO., and Wounded Knee, SD. A vegan athlete, I also serve on the board of the Black Vegetarian Society of Texas.
