Patagonia
4 people recommended this item
Description
Patagonia is about as green as you get for a large corporation. Founded by visionary Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia weaves green, clean, ethical, fair trade and employee
well-being into every stitch of its corporate culture, and does so with the same attention to excellence and detail as it puts into its outstanding clothing line, which features organic cotton and recycled-source materials.

Not only cleans your house, but by drinking a few ounces each day you'll clean your internal house too! Very healthy for the whole system. I know older arthritic women

Fort Worth Prairie Park
First to recommend
Description
Not yet completely protected from the State's bulldozers, but provides the "product" and "ecological services" of much needed wildland respite for weary people, as well as youth education and critical refuge for threatened native Southern Tallgrass
Prairie wildlife. The remaining Fort Worth Prairie is one of the nation's most endangered ecosystems, yet has diversity (over 2,000 native species) rivaling that of tropical rainforests.

SPECIALIZED Brand Mountain Bikes
First to recommend
Description
They make excellent bikes -- I've had several, and never rode a bike as tight as a Specialized. As a corporation, they "encourage outdoor lifestyles" and of course bicycle transportation, which benefits all of us, both ecologically and physically. All Specialized riders should press the company to fully embrace green practices throughout their entire corporation.
