I'm not that in to Halloween, getting dressed up and stuff ... the costumes are ALWAYS uncomfortable, I never have the costume that everyone oohs and ahhs over, and it's so expensive for one night a year and you'll never wear it again.
All that said, if I needed to be something for Halloween this year... I pick this. It's a cute little bumble bee costume and I have the perfect shoes to go with it.

What a beautiful dish! At first I thought it was some kind of boiled egg representation, but when I saw that the olive oil on the different terraces is what actually makes the colors fade from deep yellow to white I fell in love!

Vintage Peace Necklace

There's something really charming about this vintage peace necklace. Today's version of the ubiquitous Mercedes-like symbol blinged out like it belongs on a Mercedes in somehow missing the point.
Plus I love how such a democratic concept can be rendered in such a patriotic style. Liberals are patriots, too... we just want to make love not war ;)
