Simple and beautiful. The colors are contemporary without being too edgy.

I grew up with these, in particular the extra large ones with the pump. In a traditional Asian kitchen, you will always find hot water available day or night. Hot tea anytime.

Description
What a vibrant blue, and the silver detail adds a little glam without being fuzzy. The colors are bold and beautiful (Oooh, did I just use the name of a bad daytime soap series?).
From Switzerland, Terra Keramik recently launched distribution to the U.S. market. What's great about this company is their sustainable practice, which includes using renewable energy, manufacturing with energy-efficient clay, and shipping in only recycled packaging.

versace tea set

Description
I am definitely not a Versace kind of gal. I actually don't understand it at all. However, this one particularArabesque teapot caught my attention. Maybe I'm not phobic to Donatella's designs? (To tell you the truth, I was looking at this teapot as a vase candidate for a floral design. I think it would look great.) Made by Rosenthal for Versace.

Armani Casa - Cometa Tea Accessories

Description
I love almost everything in the Armani Casa stores. I like the fact he has a very clear design point of view and never really strays from it. You would think this bronze/gold tea set would be flamboyant, but nope, leave it to Armani to somehow make it look minimal and chic. (via LuxLoves)

This Sieger teapot is gorgeous, but I wish they matched it with the plates, which are bright blue with red floral pattern. The gold handle makes it a luxury item, and you know, it doesn't look bad at all.

Wow. How GORGEOUS is this teapot? Everything about this pot is so well designed, including Asianera's intentional use of traditional graphic and color, yet they still maintain their modern point of view. This is a beautiful product.

Description
Usually I tend to steer away from modern interpretations of antiques, in particular Asian antiques. I think Villeroy and Boch did okay with these "green tea" teapots. The bright colors make the design intentional, hence one can't mistaken it for a bad knock-off. I love the yellow/green teapot with the detailed handle. How fabulous to serve these individually at teatime?

Description
I normally am not a fan of Mikasa, but I really do like this teapot. The modern intepretation of Asian floral pattern is beautiful. Bright red on stark white makes it very modern, but in its classic world.
