Description

This is a different sort of notebook. Most are either lined or blank, but this one has pages that are half blank and half lined. You can write and sketch on the same page, which is great for developing projects, interpreting dreams--all kinds of things. We're not half of us verbal and half of us visual. A lot of us use both as part of our creative process.

Zolo toys are great: whimsical snap-together parts that kids can use to make creatures of their own invention. This latest offering from Zolo takes the creativity one step further, allowing the child to build a mobile with their creatures. Good stuff!

Description

My favorite item of furniture is the shelf unit, and this is among the best of the best. As much a sculpture as a piece of furniture, this unit has numerous shelves, each of which can rotate around the center axis. The permutations are infinite. I can just picture it holding my favorite books and my most beloved objets d'knick knack.

I suppose I'm too old to want this for Christmas, but it looks wonderful! I love the wild colors and patterns, and would have had a blast with it as a child.
